Urban settlements include cities, cities without municipal status and towns, rural settlements include small towns and villages.

In 2008 a new version of the classification of economic activities was implemented in the EU. The data according to EMTAK 2008 (based on NACE Rev. 2) are presented in table ML0203: Employed persons place of residence and economic activity (EMTAK 2008).
