Starting from 1995 the annual issue of periodicals or newspapers is considered as one unit if lent; earlier the number of single copies was registered.

Since 2010 without the data of the Estonian Patent Information Centre (previously Estonian Patent Library).

Since 2014, all the libraries of the Defence Forces are considered to be one library. Therefore, the number of libraries decreased.
