* Due to changes in defining normative place, the ratios are comparable only in the following time frames: 1980-1990, 1995-1998, 1999-2005, starting from 2006.

Until 2008 the age of children has been presented as of 31 December. Starting from 2009 - as of 1 September.

Starting 2012, the education indicators connected with the population number are calculated based on the data of the 2011 Population and Housing Census. For earlier years, the population number based on the 2000 census is used. Census data 2000 and 2011 are corrected with under-cover.

The data for 2016 have been revised on 11.05.2018.
