In the ascending total only the data presented to the database have been summed up.

By the data of the Border Guard Administration and the Estonian Tourist Board, the number of persons who arrived in Estonia through border checkpoints.

Since May 2004 border crossings refer to all persons from outside of the European Union, the European Economic Community and the Swiss Confederation, who arrived via the frontier posts of Estonia.

The data for the following periods are in the table TR20 ''Border crossings to Estonia, excl. citizens of the member states of European Economic Area and Switzerland and their family members (months)''.
